The Calculators

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into a length, width, depth or material field are used only to compute the results shown on the same page. They are never transmitted to a server, stored, or shared with anyone. Closing or reloading the page clears them completely, since they were never sent anywhere to begin with.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which calculators get used. It records the pages opened, approximate location at city level, and general device and browser details. It does not receive anything you type into a calculator, because those numbers never leave your browser in the first place.

The analytics script is deliberately loaded late, after the page has finished rendering, so it cannot slow down the first view of a page. Nothing on this site runs advertising scripts, and no data is sold or passed to advertisers.

Browser-level controls apply here as they do anywhere else: blocking third-party scripts, using a tracking-blocking extension, or enabling a Do Not Track setting all stop the analytics script from loading, and every calculator continues to work normally when it is blocked.

The Contact Form

This site is a fully static site with no backend server, so the contact form does not currently transmit submissions anywhere on its own. The mailto link beneath the form sends an email directly from your own email client to this site's inbox, which is subject to whatever privacy practices your own email provider applies to messages you send. If a form-handling service is wired into the form in the future, this page will name that service and describe what it does with a submission before the change goes live.

Third-Party Services

Google Analytics is the only third-party service this site loads, and it is named in full in the analytics section above. Its script is fetched from googletagmanager.com once a page has finished rendering.

Everything else is served from this domain. The site uses the fonts already installed on your device rather than pulling them from a font host, and all of its own code ships from the same domain as the pages, so no other outside service is told which pages you have visited. If that changes, this page will list the service by name and what it can see before it is added.

Changes to This Policy

Any future change to what this site collects or how the contact form is handled will be reflected on this page before it takes effect, not after.
